Meridian Astrology Privacy Policy

Meridian Astrology is built so that we cannot see your data, because we never receive it.

What we collect

Nothing. Meridian Astrology has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personal information.

How your data is handled

• Birth details (date, time, place) that you or people you add enter are stored only on your device, in the app's local storage, and are used solely to compute charts on your device.
• Chart calculations (planetary positions, houses, aspects, transits) run entirely on your device using an astronomical ephemeris bundled with the app.
• Place search uses Apple's MapKit to turn a city name into coordinates and a timezone. That query is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; Meridian Astrology adds no identifiers to it and never sees Apple's server logs.
• AI readings, on supported devices, are written by Apple's on-device Foundation Models — generation happens on your iPhone, offline, from your computed chart only. No text is sent anywhere.
• Notifications are scheduled locally on your device.
• Share cards are images generated on your device; they leave your phone only when you choose to share them.

Data deletion

Delete your data at any time with More → Your data → Start over, or by deleting the app. Because nothing is stored off-device, deletion is complete and immediate.

Children

Meridian Astrology is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If a future version ever changes any of the above (for example, optional server-generated reports), this policy will be updated first and the app will ask before anything is sent.
